Gaza: This demonstration needs to be massive

As I write, it’s been confirmed that Israel has launched a ground invasion of Gaza. Well over 200 Palestinians have already been killed by Israel’s attacks, and the number will now rise much higher. This is a crucial moment to stand up, speak out and say Israel cannot be allowed to get away with this: Palestine must be free.
Tens of thousands of people are expected to be on the march for Gaza in London this Saturday, assembling at 12noon, outside Downing Street. Left Unity members will be there, supporting the march. (We’re meeting up at the spot where Whitehall meets Horse Guards Avenue, where we’ll have our banners and materials.) Please: do everything you can to be there too.
Left Unity is active in movements and campaigns across the left, working to create an alternative to the main political parties.
