Response to Jeremy Corbyn getting on ballot paper for Labour leader

Pete Green of Left Unity said:

“We welcome the fact that Jeremy Corbyn is on the ballot paper. There will now be an anti-austerity socialist in this election raising the serious issues other candidates have been so determined to ignore.

“This election will now be a real test of whether the Labour Party is willing to vote for a leader who offers an alternative to austerity, or whether it plans to continue dancing to the Tory tune.”
