Fight for the breath of life
Hands in pockets, casual as a boy on a bike, he kneels to choke pleading George.
Kneels in prayer to his vengeful god whose name is bigotry.
Covid-19 drowns frightened Winston, squeezing out his last conscious minutes.
Likewise the bullied, tortured earth.
Victims of pale horsed men who refuse to preserve and protect them all, but them.
With the last breath of the sacrificed fight,
Fight for the breath of life.
We will not breathe this air of hatred,
this noxious poison,
this gas of extinction.
Fight to disarm this barbarous world of pale horse oppression.
We rise and breathe fire
We rise and breathe love
We rise for all who have fallen
We rise to displace, disarm and dismiss those whose choking hatred kneels on the throat of the other
We rise for each other, our sister, our brother.
