Solidarity Games for Greece!

Lambeth Left Unity are organising a day of games and sports style fun in Brockwell park on 15 August – we will be fundraising for the Greece Solidarity Campaign (http://greecesolidarity.org/?page_id=807)

So if you enjoy such summer sports fun as rounders, French cricket, three legged races and tug of war, including various other games we haven’t thought of yet and having some food and drink all for a good cause then please come along. Other suggestions include tug of war and the famous egg and spoon race

Don’t worry if you’re not very sporty –  we will make sure the games are fun and accessible for all. If  you want to just come and soak up the sun and have be a socialist spectator then you are  more then welcome.

We’ll be in Brockwell park (nearby loos and a cafe), nearest tube is Brixton or Herne Hill train station. We start at 1pm near the Brockwell Park cafe on the hill.

The event will be child friendly and have entertainments for the young ones as well.

Cost – donation to Greek Solidarity Campaign’s medical aid for Greece fund.
